Check-In / Check-Out time
Check-In is as of 3pm and Check-Out is before 11am. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate early check-in and/or late check-out given the processes are standardized in order to provide affordable prices to you. If you would like to check-in significantly earlier than 3pm or check-out significantly later than 11am, you can consider booking an additional night as we provide 24-7 self check-in / check-out.
Luggage storage
If you require a place to store your luggage and bags before check-in and/or after check-out, there are various lockers at the train station St. Gallen which you can use. Our place unfortunately doesn’t have a storage room.

There are third-party parking lots you can use. The closest one is behind the building at the Metallstrasse. It must be paid onsite as reservation is not possible. Alternatively, you can also use the so called «Blaue Zone» where you can park for free during the night (7pm to 8am). Again, reservation is not possible here. See below for further details

Extending booking
You can extend your stay by booking directly through city-home.ch where you get the lowest possible price.
If you decide to prolong your stay and you were able to book the same room, then all is fine. However, if you have to move to another room, please make sure to empty the previous room before check-out. Given that your new room might be in a different flat, you might have difficulty to access your luggage when you leave your bags in the previous place.
Travel adapter plug
The Swiss power plug is quite unique. Best is to bring your own travel adapter plug to make sure that it works. Otherwise you can buy one at specialty store Interdiscount at the train station St. Gallen
Deposit
A deposit of CHF 100 will be charged for the key using your credit card. Technically speaking, the amount will be blocked but not transferred from your credit card to our account. We do that so that the amount will be released within 48h after your departure . Having said that, it can still take a while until your bank or credit card issuer makes this amount available to you again. From our side, we will release the deposit latest midnight the day of your departure. If you don’t see the release the next day, please reach out to your bank and ask them how long it usually takes for a release to be reflected in their system.
If you do not have a credit card, you can also use a debit card with the link here. Please note that you will need to inform us in writing, and the refund process will take longer. Instead of days, it can take weeks.
